Simon Says - Happy Birthday

Hi Everyone...welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us for last week's challenge and we hope you can join us this week too because

We are excited to invite you to join in the Monday Challenge "Sweet 16" Birthday Celebrations and as it's the first challenge of the month when the team feature one particular brand/company, this month we are all using the fabulous products from PaperArtsy. You don't have to use these products to join in the challenge but we would love to see what you make if you have them in your stash.

The theme for this week is...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

I created a With Love Birthday card using PaperArtsy Infusions, Simon Says Stamp Darling Greetings dies, Darling Patterns Hearts Stencil, Made to Flourish 6" x 8" stamp set and co-ordinating dies and Tim Holtz/Sizzix Wildflower Stems 1 Thinlits.

I die-cut With Love from Gina K Masking Magic using Simon Says Stamp Darling Greetings Wafer die and fixed to an A2 panel of Distress Watercolor card.

I sprinkled PaperArtsy Sunset Beach and Lemoncello Infusions on to the panel, spritzed with water to activate, dried and removed the masking paper die-cuts.

I applied Distress Texture Paste Opaque Crackle through the Simon Says Stamp Darling Patterns Hearts Stencil.

I die-cut Tim Holtz/Sizzix Wildflower Stems 1- 4 times from Distress Watercolor card, layered to create dimension and fixed to the panel with Distress Collage Medium.

I stamped the sentiment from Simon Says Stamp Made To Flourish 6" x 8" stamp set, inked with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink and die-cut using the Made to Flourish co-ordinating dies. I die-cut extra and layered to create dimension.

I added a White Hemp Twine bow and fixed the sentiment in place with Simon Says Stamp Thin 3D Foam Squares.

To finish I matted the panel on to Distress Black HeavyStock, trimmed to be 1/8" larger and fixed to a 5" x 6.1/4" white card blank.
