De-stressing with Distress...

Morning folks...after yesterday's coffee all over the floor fiasco which perhaps wasn't the disaster I first thought...the carpet badly needed a bit of TLC and is now looking all spick and span...gone are all those horrible spilt on the floor gluey sticky bits but afterwards I was badly in need of a de-stress session and what better way than to have a play with some of my Hero Arts which have been sadly neglected of late and my favourite ink pads...
And a chance to enter this month's Hero Arts contest....

but it had to be a quickie so I grabbed one of my absolute favourites...Delicate Blossoms

no time either for faffing about with colouring..shading and blending...grab Distress Inks..Wild Honey...Spiced Marmalade and Vintage Photo...some Cut and Dry and it's done in minutes...
the paper is from Hero Arts Earth Hues Designer Pack with Papermania Kraft card stamped with Hero Arts Canvas Stripes (another favourite) behind the window...

And it's decision time...what clothes do I need to pack for my little crafy jaunt this weekend...do I take lots of winter woolies and spend the weekend hot and bothered...do I deck myself out for glorious sunshine and end up with goose pimples the size of Card Candi...will I need a rain jacket and wellies or do I do what I always do empty half the wardrobe in the suitcase and hope for the best.  And should I take my slippers...my feet are likely to be throbbing by the time I check out each and every stand with my cubbyhole chief stash buyer hat on so if you spot a little old lady shuffling along in her slippers....don't worry it's only me.
Catch up with you all tomorrow
Hugs Kath xxx
