but the die cutting production line isn't exactly floating my boat this morning...I'm feeling a little bit stir crazy with the never ending rain and you know me...I'm the proverbial "chasing my tail" "skidding in by the seat of my pants" kind of crafter...why change the habits of a lifetime when you have the opportunity to skive off on a jolly...a "dance in the rain" and splash in the puddles" kind of a day. I'm meeting up with the Huntly Hooligans aka Carol...Aud...Maureen...Helen and Lily for a bite of lunch and a good old natter...what the heck...tomorrow's another day...if only all decisions were as easy to make.
and a couple of "crikey I wish it would stop raining" cards...
I wonder if you can guess what I used for the raindrops...

ReplyDeleteI am so impressed that you put the mag in the garage, my Son who is 43 still has ALL his old comics - his wife is not too impressed but puts up with it! Your cards are fabulous and would brighten any rainy day (floods expected here). The sentiment is so true, so hope you enjoy dancing in the rain with your pals today. Make you own tissue tape - like the sound of that too. Hope you have a lovely day Kath. Crafty hugs, Anne x
ReplyDeleteNow I thought that might be icing sugar raindrops but on second thoughts I'll settle for doctored card candi?
ReplyDeleteHave a super day with lunch out & nattering. Think you dance pretty well.

Gorgeous cards Kath, love the rain drops! Waiting to see if they are candy and how you made them that shape hugs Karen x
ReplyDeleteThese cards certainly fit our weather just now. I don't think the dance bit fits those of us who have beg energetic dogs though lol. Sometimes difficult enough to walk if they're being daft!!
ReplyDeleteHope you had a lovely lunch with the Huntly quines.
Kat xx

Hope you had a great day out with your chums Kath. Love both of the cards, perfect for this weather. Did you use the rubber bands on your acrilic block to stamp on Mr umbrella man card? I think it must be your lovely card candy for the raindrops , very nice. What's the name for Tim Holtz big die of the alphabet that you use? Ican't seem to find it anywhere online.
