NEC...here I come...

Hi folks...Winter's back with a vengenance in my neck of the woods and while you're probably still snuggled up in your cosy bed...I'm at the airport checking in for my silly o'clock flight on a freezing still snowing morning but it takes more than a few cms of snow to close the airport here unlike Heathrow where everything shuts down at the first sign of a snowflake. Let's hope that statement doesn't come back to haunt me and that soon I'll have safely negotiated me and my bag through Birmingham Airport without any Mrs Numptie incidents and be heading for my cubbyhole space for the next 5 days with lots of time in hand to grab some breakfast and chill out before I tackle setting up the workshop area.

unpack the tools boxes...

do my usual faffing around until I'm happy with the layout and once my lovely Fiskars buddy Rachel arrives with the kits...we'll be hot to trot and ready to go...

but a girl's got to pace herself so I'll be skiving off at regular intervals to say hello to old friends...checking out any new crafty goodies with my Chief Cubbyhole Stash buyer hat on and if the weather's kind...nipping outside for umpteen coffee breaks.
