Ribbon Girls Colour Challenge...May

Hi folks...time to join in the fun over at The Ribbon Girls Colour Challenge...yes we're onto May already can you believe it and delicious colours to work with this month...
LILAC/LAVENDER
you may or may not know that I'm in the middle of a great big kitchen make-over so time in the cubbyhole has been slightly curtailed but I managed to sneak some time out to play with some Ribbon Girl goodies and a 6" x 6" canvas...


getting extra mucky with Gesso and Tissue Paper...what's another layer of gunge when your hands are already covered with emulsion and you know what...it may have been completed in a super warp speed break from the DIY but I rather like it's simplicity...no time to do my usual over egging of  the pudding as they say.
As always there are fabulous prizes up for grabs from...

and the great news is we have a new teamie...the lovely and very talented Gina and our guest designer for May is the equally lovely and talented Tracy Payne...so why don't you hop over and check out the fabulous inspiration from all the girls on the Ribbon Girl Design Team.     Super colours Kath & I love the cream flower centres against the shabby chicness of the lilacs, white & black. Hope your fingers are surviving......
