Why is it...

Morning folks...I'm still waiting for our new Social Media Director aka the Furry Boy to sign his contract...what's the big deal...he already lives in the lap of luxury...it's time he earned his keep with a few extra duties but I have a sneaky feeling he's holding out for an even bigger increase in the bone ration...well hey everything in life is negotiable...just don't tell him that.
And he thinks he's got problems...why is it when I have a little time on my hands in between DIY jobs...Mr Mojo has sloped off to goodness knows where...just up and left me in the lurch...I've got oodles of stuff piling up in the cubbyhole and the crafty light seems to have gone out...there is not even one little idea swimming around in this old crafty head and if I can't find inspiration from the mega box of goodies that arrived from Craftwork Cards...
and let me tell you that the new Tea Dance Collection is absolutely gorgeous...
or my lovely buddy Paula's fabulous new dies she kindly sent me to have a little play with...
or my yummy DT parcel from The Ribbon Girl
not forgetting the goodies I bought at The NEC...the new Hero Arts that haven't as yet been removed from their packaging let alone seen any ink...this may well be far more serious than I thought. Time for a cunning plan which has worked in the past...no point in tearing my hair out...bumping my gums or getting stressed...let's try a change of tack...a pamper and lunch day out with the Friday girls may be just the cure for my crafting ills...a fun catch up with non-crafty friends...oh yes believe me there are actually folks out there who are not obsessed with crafty must-haves...don't have a clue who Tim Holtz is...think that Grunge is a music style...Distress is when you are sad and don't give a hoot about stamps ink and 12 x 12's....strange but true.
In the meantime it will give the Furry Boy a chance to have a rummage...he's been eyeing up that box of Craftwork Cards goodies so pop back tomorrow and knowing him...I'm sure he'll have managed to snaffle something.
Hugs Kath xxx

  1. ...amazing amount of treats there Kath, a pamper day out with friends will have Mr Mojo begging for forgiveness and you'll wade your way through those goodies with awesome style, as for Buddy he already thinks he's the CEO and holding out for a larger bone stash may just do the trick, dont you just love him...have a super day...Melxx :)

  2. What a bundle of goodies to chose from. I am sure that a day off or even a walk to see the amazing spring flowers and blossoms which are out at the moment will get the creative juices flowing...look what happened when you made your fab Christmas scene, it turned out perfectly in the end. Send a pat to Buddy. ...and perhaps a juicy bone too ;0) x

  3. Oh what I wouldn't give to have a play in your room Kath! Yes I can believe there are people like that - all my friends, they think I am really weird for my passion about crafting! Have a wonderful day and hopefully you might bump into Mr. Mojo whilst you are out and about! Susan x

  4. Wow, what a lot of fab new goodies, I would love to have a play with those. Have a fab day out and let's hope he has signed that contract. I was an HR Manager so could take a look at it for him if he likes just to make sure he is being properly treated for all the work he is expected to do, regular breaks etc

  14. It's true there are those who aren't interested in creating something and when they see something they like, they buy it. Then there are those( like me ) who look at the item and say, "I'll bet I could make that" and don't buy it! And most of the time, don't make it either. It takes all kinds and I do love trying to be creative. Love your blog!

  19. If Mr. Mojo isn't getting excited over that lovely group of goodies, you may need to call 911! Yep, hard to believe there are folks out there who don't dream in Distress ink! Hope that your non-crafty (shudder)day out has made Mr. Mojo so jealous that he's come racing home!
