The day after the day after syndrome...

Hi folks...once again the day after the day after syndrome has kicked in...how can 3 hours of driving...basically sitting holding on to a steering wheel with a little bit of movement in the gear changing department leave you feeling as though you've been run over by a truck...do you think a little squirt of WD40 might get the old legs working again in time for our morning stroll...right this minute it's looking like all I will be able to muster is a slow hobble around the block which won't go down too well with my walking partner...the super fit... off like a rocket Furry Boy.
And it's decisions...decisions...what's going to be on today's agenda...do I get cracking with my Kath's Klub projects for the Melt Pot Madness at The Papeterie on the 27th or get stuck into the pile of delicious DT goodies that are currently sitting on my workdesk or tackle the neglected of late "Paint-A-Door-A-Day" marathon and you know what's likely to happen don't you...I'll make a cuppa...sit down for a ponder and sure as fate I'll end up doing none of the above...feels like it going to be one of those "need a kick up the bum" kind of days.
In the meantime I'll leave you with some of the samples from Saturday's "Fiskars Fuse" demo at Hobbycraft Glasgow...
letterpressed onto and die cut from cork

my favourite cheeky chappie letterpressed onto felt and die cut from fabric self adhesive paper

I hope you all have a Happy Monday and I'll be back tomorrow to share more samples and announce the winner of the Craft Stamper Give-Away...aaa...haaa...you thought I'd forgotten again didn't you.
Hugs Kath xxx

  3. Hi Kath, sorry to hear about your aches and pains, perhaps it's our dates of birth that contribute to that problems. Considering all the walking and exercise you have each day, I wouldn't have thought your body would stiffen up. Hopefully the weather forecast of 23deg will help get you up and going. Love the samples, that wee birdie is so cute done in cork and material. The flowers look so peaceful, they remind me of the Cameo blue broaches ...Trish

  11. Lovely samples again Kath, I don't know how you do it. This hot weather drains me completely including my crafty mojo - but what ever does or doesn't happen I still have to go for our doggy walks. We are roasting down here in Oxfordshire 30C+ again today, so going out earlier and then much later to try and keep cool! X
