and the theme for this week is...
THANKS/THANKSGIVING
I'm sure I'm not the only one who becomes overwhelmed by all that is happening in the fast paced chaotic 21st century world we live in and how easy it is to take the simple things for granted and forget that we have a lot to be thankful for. So I decorated a media board to display in my craft room...a reminder of how grateful I am for the love and support of a wonderful family and great friends. Taking into consideration the dreary dismal weather outside the window...I decided to go for cheery and bright....sunglasses at the ready folks...
I started off by painting a chipboard panel with Distress Paints...Worn Lipstick/Mustard Seed and Twisted Citron...
stamped script from the Ledger Script Stamp Set with Black Archival ink...
and used the Hearts Layering Stencil with Picket Fence Distress Paint...
added some Remnant Rubs...
I die cut the words from Friendship Words Script from black and white cardstock and fixed together to create a shadow effect...
added Small Talk Stickers and Wildflowers die cuts...
chipboard stickers painted with Black Soot Distress Paint and coated with Glossy Accents along with a Crinkle Ribbon bow...twine and a typed token
