and you can check out all the fabulous stamps, stencils and dies from this release HERE.
I decided to sneak in some Layering Stencil playtime with the new Mini Shifter stencils from Set 37 and at the same time, have some fun with non-traditional Christmas colours.
I trimmed a panel of Distress Watercolor card to be slightly smaller than an A2 card blank and applied Bundled Sage and Seedless Preserves Distress Oxide inks through the Mint Mini Layering Stencil, spritzed with water and dabbed with a paper towel. I brushed on a light coat of Ranger Multi Medium Matte to seal the surface.
I added sections of the gorgeous Forest Christmas Collage Paper using Distress Collage Medium Matte
and die-cut the word Merry from white card coloured with Seedless Preserves using my old faithful Tim Holtz/Sizzix Alphanumeric 1" set of Thinlits.
I die-cut two more words from white card and layered to create dimension. I stamped the Happy Christmas sentiment from Tiny Words Christmas with SSS Intense Black ink on to a strip of card coloured with Bundled Sage, trimmed off the Christmas section, edged with the Intense Black ink pad and fixed in place with Tim Holtz/Sizzix Mini Foam Adhesive. I matted the panel on to a Simon Says Stamp Ultra White A2 card blank.I applied Black Soot and Chipped Sapphire Distress Paint using a mini round blending tool through the Stars Shifter Mini Layering Stencil from Set 37 on to silver Idea-ology Deco Sheet. I diluted White Gesso with water and used a small paint brush to create splatters. I trimmed the Deco Sheet to create a tree shape, removed the self adhesive backing paper, fixed to white card and trimmed to leave a small border. I fixed the tree to the panel using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Mini Foam Adhesive and added Ranger White Enamel Accents and Lucy's Little Things Ice Crystal sequins to the tree and the background.
I stamped the sentiment from Tiny Words Christmas with Simon Says Stamp Intense Black ink on to a strip of white card and trimmed to separate the words.
I edged the word strips with the Intense Black ink pad and fixed to the tree with Tim Holtz/Sizzix Mini Foam Adhesive. The camera doesn't really pick up how gorgeous and sparkly the Deco Sheet sections on the card are.
