Simon very kindly sent me the Tiny Words Christmas stamp set to play with and this stamp set has every Christmas sentiment you are ever going to need, great for adding that finishing touch to a card but I decided to make the sentiments the main feature on the cards I'm sharing.
Let's get started with the first card. I trimmed Distress Watercolor card to A2 and applied a wash of Antique Linen Distress Oxide using a Distress Broad Brush.
I inked up the Tiny Words Christmas stamp while it was still on it's backing sheet with Simon Says Stamp Intense Black ink. I wiped the ink off the edges of the stamps so that the wording would only stamp on the coloured section.I looked out my favourite Simon Says Stamp Lots of Dots and stamped two large circles with Distress Oxide Barn Door, masked off the top red circle and stamped another circle with Distress Oxide Peeled Paint.
I stamped the heart image with Fired Brick Distress Oxide ink, applied Ranger Glossy Accents and added Ice Crystal sequins from Lucy's Little Things. I matted the panel on to an A2 Neenah Desert Storm card blank.
on the second card, I trimmed Distress Watercolor card to A2 and stamped lots of dots with Distress Oxide Peeled Paint and Fired Brick and the outline dots with Simon Says Stamp Intense Black to create a Christmas tree shape. I used Vintage Photo Distress Oxide ink spritzed with water to create splatters on the background.
I stamped the sentiments on to black card using Versamark ink, heat embossed with Ranger Superfine White Embossing Powder, fussy cut and fixed in place with strips of Tim Holtz/Sizzix Mini Foam Adhesive.
added Ice Crystal Sequins from Lucy's Little Things and matted the panel on to an A2 Simon Says Stamp Schoolhouse Red card blank. I'll be back tomorrow to share more "Tiny Words Christmas" cards.
Toodle-oo for now

Stamping the background is such a great way to use the stamps and I love how you created the baubles too. The second card might just be my favourite, the tree looks amazing and the sentiments really stand out beautifully. Two beautiful cards! Hugs, Anne xx
