Hanging Out With Friends at Stitches

Hi Everyone, I'm back home after spending two days away from the cubbyhole at Stitches, the UK trade show at the NEC in Birmingham and am currently in that old familiar "haven't got a clue what day of the week it is" mode. The show was very disappointing this year, predominantly knitting and stitching with very little in the way of papercrafting to check out. But the main reason for my trip was to spend some time with my bestest buddies Anne and Enfys and we had a ball. They are just the best company and there was much chatting, laughing, pit stops for numerous coffees and lunch
and stuffing our faces opportunities with yummy cakes on the Stix 2 stand
And the icing on the cake, forgive the pun, was spending time with special friends Zoe and Kaz
 the gorgeous selfie queens
and a huge thank you to Zoe for my very special parcel of treats

including a very special momento from the Tim Holtz Idea-ology Booth at Creativation which now has pride of place on my Memories Wall in the cubbyhole
You will, perhaps, be surprised to hear that this year's Stitches adventure went without a hitch, there are no - can't find the car in the car park or airport security job's worth - stories to share this time round and with that in mind, we are now planning our next crafty friends meet up, daring to venture a little further afield. But it's time to get my crafty work hat on and first task of the day will be unpacking this delicious collection of new Distress goodies
and after this week's DT projects are in the bag, it will be PLAYTIME
Toodle-oo for now
Hugs Kath xxx
