Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous - Glorious Garden

Hi folks, I'm sharing another card I made for the Stampers Anonymous Booth at Creativation 2019 using Tim Holtz Glorious Garden CMS 365, the third stamp set in the Glorious series and glorious is exactly what this stamp set is, just like the others, the detail is amazing. I know from comments left on my blog in the past that some people find such a large stamp intimidating and that included me when I received the first one, Glorious Bouquet but you don't have to use the whole image, in fact, it was designed so that you could, if you wished, only use part of the image. So with that in mind, this time around I chose to only use the centre section of the stamp and use the edges to add foliage at the bottom of the card to create a soft watercolour look.

So let's get started. I inked the large flower with Vintage Photo Distress Archival ink and stamped on to Distress Watercolor card trimmed to be slightly smaller than an A6 card blank.
I then inked up some of the foliage sections on the stamp with Vintage Photo and stamped repeatedly on the bottom and top corner of the panel. I diluted Worn Lipstick and Peeled Paint Distress Oxide inks with water, painted the large flower, created a loose wash of Peeled Paint around it and added splatters of Worn Lipstick.
I used images from Media Marks 2 inked with Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide and Vintage Photo Archival ink to add interest to the background.
I added a strip of Idea-ology Mummy Cloth, stamped one of the sentiments from Glorious Garden, inked with Black Soot Archival, on to a die cut circle which I had coloured with Peeled Paint Distress Oxide and stamped around the edges. I then matted the circle on to a larger circle die cut from Idea-ology Cork Textured Surfaces.
I matted the panel on to the A6 card blank which I had covered with Idea-ology Cork Textured Surfaces

I'll be back soon to share another Glorious Garden card, in the meantime, have fun with whatever you are making.
