I trimmed Distress Watercolor Card to measure 4.1/2" x 6.1.2", diluted Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Reinker with water and painted randomly in the centre of the panel. I applied Frayed Burlap Distress Oxide ink through the A4 Rota Vitae Stencil #49 using a mini round blending tool and also added shading to the edges of the panel. I stamped the image and sentiments from the stamp set on to scraps of Distress Watercolor Card with Versafine Onyx Black ink and fussy cut. I coloured the body with Frayed Burlap Distress Oxide Reinker using a Distress Detailer Brush to fade out the colour. I applied two coats of Distress Collage Medium Vintage to the sentiments, cut the large sentiment into strips and used a Black Brush Marker to darken the edges. I fixed the large sentiment to the panel using Distress Collage Medium Matte and popped the body image and bottom sentiment up on mini foam adhesive to create dimension
I matted the panel on to a 5" x 7" white card blank.
And on the subject of skin, I'll be scrubbing and buffing up mine ready for a fun trip on the silly o'clock Monday morning flight to Birmingham to meet up with my lovely very special crafty chums at the Stitches Trade Show at the NEC. I can't wait to spend some time with like minded friends and I wonder what shenanigans we will get up to this time around.
Have a great weekend and I'll be back on Monday to share my DT project for Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge and I'll leave you with a little sneaky peek.
Toodle-oo for now
