I trimmed Distress Watercolor Card to measure 5" x 7" and added interest to the background using Stencil #81 Geometric with Wilted Violet and Wild Honey Distress Oxide inks, applied with mini round blending tools. I spritzed with water and patted with kitchen towel to create the water droplet effect.
I inked the Bouquet Large #180 image with Versafine Onyx Black and stamped over the background.
I used Distress Oxide inks and a water brush to add colour to the stencilled circles on the background.
I stamped the floral image twice on to scraps of Distress Watercolor card, coloured with the Distress Oxide inks and fussy cut.
I coloured the original stamped image in the same way and added the individual flower heads popped up on Tim Holtz/Sizzix Mini Foam Adhesive.
I stamped the sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black on to a torn strip of vellum and heat embossed with Ranger Superfine Clear Embossing Powder. I coloured the flower image on the reverse using Distress Markers, wrapped the vellum around the panel and secured at the back.
