Distinguished/Eclectic Adverts

Hi folks, I don't want to tempt fate but woohoo, I think I'm winning the battle with the nasty cold virus and seem to have sent it packing with the help of my jar of magic Manuka Honey.  Not cheap but worth it's weight in gold and the absolute bees' kness when it comes to kicking that bad boy's ass. So I was back in the cubbyhole yesterday to finish off the card I had to abandon on Tuesday using a quartet of Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous stamps..Distinguished/Eclectic Adverts/Inventor 7 and Blockprint.

I trimmed two panels of Distress Watercolor Card to measure 4.1/4" x 6.1/4" and coloured using Antique Linen, Old Paper and Frayed Burlap Distress Oxide inks using the very familiar to you all by now smooshing/drying and picking up the remaining drops of ink technique
I stamped the numbers from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Blockprint with Frayed Burlap Distress Oxide, spritzed with water to smudge slightly and dried with a heat tool.
I stamped parts of the image from Inventor 7 randomly on the panel using Ground Espresso Distress Archival
I stamped the image again on to a scrap of Idea-logy Dapper Paper, trimmed to fit over the existing image. I darkened the edges of the panel with Ground Espresso Distress Oxide ink using a mini round blending tool and then dragged the Distress Archival ink pad is the same colour around the edges to darken even more.
I die-cut a panel from Dapper Paper using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Stitched Rectangle Thinlits, stamped the umbrella from Distinguished with Distress Archival Vintage Photo and the image from Eclectic Adverts with Distress Archival Ground Espresso on to a scrap of Distress Watercolor Card.
I coloured the images from Inventor 7 with Mustard Seed Distress Oxide Ink. I dragged the Ground Espresso Distress Archival Ink pad over the Idea-ology Stencil Chip and sanded using the Sanding Grip. I fussy cut the stamped images and fixed in place with Tim Holtz/Sizzix Mini Foam Adhesive.
I sanded around the edges of an Idea-ology Big Talk Snarky Sticker and fixed in place with Mini Foam Adhesive.
I couldn't be bothered changing the thread and spool in my sewing machine, so created some faux stitching using my Craft Pick and a Sakura Black Micron Pen.
I finished off by matting the panel on to Classic Kraftstock panels, sanded to reveal the kraft core and fixed to a 5" x 7" White Card Blank.
and added splatters of Ground Espresso Distress Stain

I'm a bit behind with the crafty list this week but it's Friday and I'm heading off on a little road trip, out and about with coffee, lunch, some retail therapy and catching up with old friends on today's menu. Enjoy your weekend whatever you have planned and I'll see you all on Monday with my DT project for Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge, which, by the way, is still at the drawing board stage but hey, tomorrow's another day.
Toodle-oo for now
