Where Does Time Go...

Hi my friends, where does time go, I can't believe it's already 3 weeks since I said goodbye to my adorable Furry Boy and thank you so much for all the love, support and kind comments you left on my blog and on Facebook, it truly meant so much to know that you were thinking of me. I'm not going to lie it's tough and overwhelming at times and it's the little things that tug at your heart strings, finding one of his tennis balls behind a shrub in the garden, seeing his collar still hanging in the cupboard in the utility room and the cubbyhole is so quiet without his snoring. A new daily routine after 13 years and not having to plan my days around 3 doggy strolls takes a lot of getting used to but I'm taking it one day at a time and trying to keep myself busy with all the tasks I've had on my list for ages but never got round to, such as cleaning the Mini Distress Ink storage tins
 and re-inking the residents
the long overdue job of shredding 10 years + worth of Fiskars Workshop and Project Invoices and expenses receipts
a job that was impossible before, because His Nibs was terrified of the noise it made. Then the cubbyhole went into secret making stuff mode, when a parcel of yummy red rubber arrived. A huge thank you to Tim, Mario, Paula and Stampers Anonymous, a week and a bit of making and almost another week to tidy up the resulting chaos was a welcome distraction just when I needed it most.

the only surface that didn't require hosing down, surprisingly enough, was the floor
Now that the parcels of secret making stuff and AALL&Create samples have arrived safely at their destinations
it's time to share some exciting news
Tim will be launching the latest collection of Stampers Anonymous Stamps and Stencils on Facebook Live tonight at 5.00pm (if you're in the UK) from the Stampaway Show in Ohio
and the lovely Tracy Evans and Abs from AALL&Create will be appearing on Hochanda with a One Day Special sharing lots of fabulous techniques and amazing demos at 6.00pm and 8.00pm tonight
and
9.00am, 1.00pm and 5.00pm tomorrow (Saturday)

Best get myself off to my local M&S and pick up some super quick "pop in the oven" ready meals for Friday and Saturday nights' supper. Have a great weekend, whatever you are planning and I'll see you all on Monday with my DT project for Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge.
Hugs Kath xxx

  1. You have done a great job of tidying, sorting, shredding... making and sending Kath. Hopefully you will get into another routine, of sorts, in time and the pain you feel so strongly now will turn into wonderful happy memories....

It is a big evening of viewing on the very small screen tonight, I will be with you, in spirit, watching every moment..... off to M&S now to do exactly the same as you my friend! Big hugs, Anne xxx

  3. It's been 7 months today since we said goodbye to our Skipper and my heart still breaks. She was my shadow for almost 19 years. I know how you feel about your precious Buddy. He was a star. Sending lots of hugs. Anesha

  4. It's never easy losing our fur buddies. I just went through the day all over again on the 7th. It has been a year since I lost one of my best friends. Stan 14 1/2 Boston Terrier, diabetes took him, couldn't get his sugars regulated. Oh how we tried. He was an amazing dog, he was my heart dog.
Take each day as it comes. Hugs from across the pond in BC.

  5. I know how you are feeling, it is just as hard today as the day I lost our Tiggy. Your room looks lovely and glad that you had secret stuff to take your mind off things. Take care and have a wonderful weekend.
