The weeks are flying in and can you believe there are only 9 weeks to go before the big day. If you have lots of cards to make, Seasonal Scribbles is the ideal stamp set for a mass production stamping session with lots of individual images and a variety of sentiments to choose from, mixing it up so that each card looks individual.
I trimmed 4 panels of Distress Watercolor card to measure 4" x 5.1/4" and stamped the sentiments with Black Soot Distress Archival ink.
I removed the masks and used Peeled Paint, Stormy Sky, Picked Raspberry and Worn Lipstick to colour the backgrounds using the watercolor smooshing technique.
I die-cut panels from Distress Watercolor card using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Stacked Deckles Thinlits. I laid the die-cut panel on to the card, stamped the main image and smaller images around the edge inked with Black Soot Distress Archival. I removed the panel and restamped the smaller images on to the background of the card panel. I added splatters of the Distress Oxide ink I had used to colour the background, added a black twine bow, fixed the panel in place with Tim Holtz/Sizzix Mini Foam Adhesive and matted on to an A2 White card blank.
I'm thinking they would be ideal for making up boxes of cards to raise money for my local charities and I'm confident that if I gather all the supplies, cut the card panels in advance, with the help of my Stamp Platform, making 10 cards per hour, with a little time out for a coffee break, is definitely a realistic goal.
Happy Christmas Crafting
