The festive elves at Simon Says kindly sent me the Merry Frame die to play with and with 4 different pieces that you can use together or separately or mix and match with different colours, this is a great value for money versatile die.
I decided to make a trio of cards, quick and easy to mass produce with simple stamping and using the Merry Frame die in different ways to create classic black, gold and white cards.
I began by trimming Simon Says #120 Ultra White card to measure 4.1/4" square and stamped the 3 images from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Yuletide Gatherings inked with Simon Says Stamp Intense Black and heat embossed with Ranger Superfine Clear Embossing Powder.
I fixed Tim Holtz/Sizzix Adhesive sheets to scraps of Simon Says #120 Ultra White, Black card and Tim Holtz Idea-ology Classic Metallic 2 KraftStock and die-cut the Merry Christmas Frame. I added different parts of the die-cuts to the cards and stamped "Christmas" from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Simple Sayings inked with Simon Says Stamp Intense Black. I added Tim Holtz Idea-ology MetalIic Droplets and matted each panel on to Classic Metallic 2 KraftStock, Black Card and fixed to a 5" square white card blank.
Toodle-oo for now
