Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Scenic Holiday...

Hi my friends, today I'm sharing two cards I made for the Facebook Live launch of Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Christmas collection using the beautiful images from Scenic Holiday. If you missed the Facebook Live launch video, you can check out all the gorgeous new stamps and stencils and amazing inspirational samples on Tim's blog HERE.
On the first card I stamped the image and sentiment with Black Soot Distress Archival ink on to a 4" x 6" panel of Distress Watercolor card and added a light wash of Faded Jeans Distress ink. I added snowflakes randomly on the background using the Snowflake Shifter Stencil and Faded Jeans and Hickory Distress inks using a mini round blending tool. I matted the panel on to Tim Holtz Ideaology Silver Metallic trimmed slightly larger and added to a 5" x 7" white card blank.

On the second card I created a watercolor background using Faded Jeans and Hickory Smoke Distress inks using the watercolor smooshing technique on to a panel of Distress Watercolor card die-cut with Tim Holtz/Sizzix Stacked Deckle Thinlits. I stamped the image on to the panel and the sentiment on to a scrap of Distress Watercolor card with Black Soot Distress Archival ink. I attached the panel to a panel of Tim Holtz Idea-ology Silver Metallic card which I had stamped with the background from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Lumberjack inked with Black Soot Distress Archival ink and matted on to a 5" x 7" white card blank.
To finish, I used the Snowflake Shifter Stencil with Ranger Opague Texture Paste to add a few snowflakes around the edges

  3. Both cards are beautiful Kath, I love the blue tones in the background, it gives a lovely cold, crisp, wintry feel. I love how you embellished them too. Hugs, Anne xx
