Simon Says Stamp - Add Some Texture

Hi Everyone...welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us for last week's challenge and we hope you can join us this week too because

It's the first challenge of the month and that means the Design Team are showcasing one particular brand/company and this month it's the turn of Stamperia. You don't have to used their products to join in the challenge but we would love to see how you use them if you have them in your stash.
We are also welcoming the lovely and talented Tracy Sabella aka Garden Of Grace as our Designer In The Spotlight. If you haven't visited her blog, you are in for a real treat, so pop over and say Hi!
the theme for this week is...
ADD SOME TEXTURE
I decorated a linen panel using papers from Stamperia's Atelier 12 x 12 Paper Pad to create a collage and the Forest Flower Of Life Stencil to add texture using Tim Holtz/Ranger Distress Crackle Texture Paste and Distress Embossing Glazes and added flowers die-cut with Tim Holtz/Sizzix Small Tattered Florals Thinlits.

I began by trimming papers from the Atelier Paper Pad to be slightly smaller than the 6" x 8" Linen Panel, fixed to cardstock to make them a bit sturdier, inked the edges with Vintage Photo Distress Ink and fixed in place with Distress Collage Medium Matte.
I applied Vintage Photo Distress Ink through the Forest Flower Of Life Stencil using a mini round blending tool to add the flower only and while the ink was wet, I sprinkled with Vintage Photo Distress Embossing Glaze to add texture and heat set. I applied Distress Crackle Texture Paste thrugh the stencil to add the wording and circles in the top left corner and sprinkled with Cracked Pistachio and a little Vintage Photo. I added the dots and sprinkled with Antique Linen and Vintage Photo and set the panel aside to dry.
Once the crackle has developed, I heated the embossing glaze to melt, created shadows around the wording and circles using a dark brown watercolour pencil and added Ephemera trimmed out from one of the papers.
I fussy cut an extra butterfly from one of the papers, spritzed lightly with water, sprinkled with Vintage Photo Distress Embossing Glaze, heat set and fixed in place with Distress Collage Medium Matte, adding adhesive only to the body section.
I die-cut the Tim Holtz/Sizzix Small Tattered Florals from scraps of Distress Watercolor card, tapped them into a puddle of Antique Linen Distress Oxide ink and while the ink was still wet, sprinkled with Antique Linen and Vintage Photo Distress Embossing Glazes and heat set.
I fixed them to the panel with Distress Collage Medium and added Vintage Self Adhesive pearls from my stash.

I sanded the edges of the base paper and fixed to the linen panel.

As you may know, Simon Says Stamp are accepting new orders, but have longer shipping times for the moment due to the coronavirus. With this in mind we have made the difficult decision to suspend the $50 voucher for this challenge.
We know that many people are staying safe at home and we would love it if you would continue to enter the challenges and have fun! We are all in this together!
