Tim Holtz/Simon Says Stamp - The Inspector

Hello my friends, I'm thrilled to be joining lots of friends and talented makers on Simon Says Stamp Instagram Hop to celebrate the release of 4 new sets of dies that co-ordinate with Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous stamp sets. You can join the hop HERE on Instagram.

I created a travel journal using Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Pocket Folio using Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous The Inspector and the co-ordinating dies from Simon Says Stamp.
I began by removing the inserts from the covers and fixed Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Correspondence papers to the covers. I painted alternate panels of the inserts with Faded Jeans Distress Paint and covered the rest with the Correspondence papers. I added cut out sections of the papers, inked with Scorched Timber Distress Ink to the painted panels and also inked the edges of the insert and pockets.
I stamped the images from the Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous The Inspector randomly on the insert, inked with Versafine Clair Nocturne and Prize Ribbon Distress Oxide inks.
I stamped the Inspector, Chronograph and small icon images on to Distress Watercolor card using Versafine Clair Nocturne ink and Barn Door Distress Oxide inks, coloured with Distress Watercolor Pencils, colours linked below, and die-cut using the Simon Says Stamp co-ordinating dies.
I stamped the heart image on the twill ribbon included with the Pocket Portfolio, inked with Barn Door Distress Archival and fixed to the front and back covers using strong double sided adhesive tape. I assembled the die-cut sections and fixed to the front cover using Simon Says Stamp 3D Thin Foam Squares to create dimension.
I fixed the insert section back into the portfolio covers.

I added the stamped and die-cut lightbulb
I stamped on a panel of cream cardstock to create a playing card and fixed in place tucked in behind the Inspector image.
I'm off to make myself a cuppa, find a cosy sofa and spend the rest of my afternoon, visiting all the other makers on the hop. In the meantime, have fun with whatever you are making.

Simon Says - A Grateful Heart

Hello my friends, I'm back to share another card using products from the amazing value for money Simon Says Stamp Be Your Beautiful Self February 2026 card kit which is still available to purchase. You can buy the kit, subscribe to future kits if you don't already or purchase individual items from the kit HERE.

I created a card using the Be Your Beautiful Self 6" x 8" stamp set and the co-ordinating dies, Artful Palette Stencils and Dies, Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Orange Palette Collection papers and Simon Says Stamp Cosmos Duo Wafer Dies.
I trimmed the Ivory cardstock included in the kit to make a 4" x 5.1/4" panel. I used a baby wipe to apply Dried Marigold and Rusty Hinge Distress Paints and dried. I placed one of the Artful Palette Stencils over the panel and dabbed Rusty Hinge Distress Paint using the same baby wipe through the stencil.
I die-cut the Artful Palette shapes from Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Orange Palette Collection paper and fixed to the panel with Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Perfect Craft Glue. I stamped the sentiment from the Be Your Beautiful Self stamp set, inked with Ground Espresso Distress Archival ink and fixed the panel to an A2 Ivory card blank.
I die-cut Simon Says Stamp Cosmos Duo from Distress Watercolor card and the Orange Palette Collection paper, coloured the stem with Ground Espresso Distress Archival ink and the centres of the flowers with Rusty Hinge Distress Oxide ink using a Round Detail Brush, assembled and fixed to the panel with 3D Thin Foam Squares.
I stamped the sentiment from Be Your Beautiful Self on to a scrap of Distress Watercolor card, inked with Ground Espresso Distress Archival ink, die-cut with the co-ordinating dies (which are not included with the kit and are a separate purchase) and fixed in place with 3D Thin Foam Squares.
To finish I added Trinity Stamps Creamy Vanilla Heart Sprinkles.

Simon Says Stamp - Believe In Yourself

Hello my friends, I'm back to share another card made with the fabulous products from Simon Says Stamp Be Your Beautiful Self February 2026 Card Kit. The kit is still available to buy at time of writing this post and you can check out everything included in the kit, subscribe, if you don't already, to future kits or purchase individual items from the kit HERE.

I created a simple quick and easy card using the Be Your Beautiful Self stamp set, Artful Palette Stencils and Dies, Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Pink Palette Collection papers, Cello Sticker Tape and Black Soot Distress Archival ink pad, all included in the kit.
I smooshed the Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide ink pad on to my media mat, spritzed with water and laid an A2 panel of Distress Watercolor card into the ink, dried and tapped the panel repeatedly back into the ink to pick up the remaining droplets, drying between layers. I placed one of the 5 stencils from the Artful Palette pack over the panel and applied Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide ink generously through the stencil using a Distress Mini Round Blending Tool
I trimmed the panel to 4" x 5.1/4", die-cut the shapes and butterflies from the Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Pink Palette Collection papers using the Artful Palette dies and fixed in place popped up on Simon Says Stamp 3D Thin Foam Squares, also included in the kit. I inked the sentiment from the Be Your Beautiful Self stamp set with Black Soot Distress Archival ink and stamped on to the stencilled rectangle.
I added Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Cello Sticker Tape and Gina K Black Mini Pearls Mix to the centres of the butterflies and lifted the wings to create dimension.
To finish I matted the panel on to Distress Black HeavyStock trimmed 1/8" larger and fixed to an A2 white card blank.

Have fun with whatever you are creating.

Tim Holtz/Simon Says Stamp - Field Notes

Hello my friends, Simon Says Stamp have just released 5 new sets of dies to co-ordinate with Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous stamp sets. If you missed the Live Launch, you can re-watch on Simon Says Stamp YouTube Channel HERE.

I created a set of notecards using one of my favourite stamp sets, Field Notes and the new co-ordinating dies, coloured with Distress Watercolor Pencils, the perfect gift for a friend to have on hand to send a note or a best wishes card for any occasion.
I trimmed Distress Watercolor card to create 3 - 4" x 5.1/4" panels, smooshed Picked Raspberry, Bundled Sage and Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide ink pads on to scraps of acetate, spritzed with water and pressed repeatedly on to the panels to create quick watercolor effect backgrounds. I stamped the small images from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Field Notes randomly on the panels, inked with Ground Espresso Distress Archival ink.
I stamped the rest of the images from the stamp set on to panels of Distress Watercolor card inked with Ground Espresso Distress Archival ink and coloured using Picked Raspberry, Bundled Sage and Gathered Twigs Distress Watercolor Pencils using a Distress Detailer Waterbrush.
I die-cut the stamped images using Simon Says Stamp co-ordinating set of dies and arranged temporarily on each panel to get an idea of placement.
I fixed the larger rectangle panels in place with Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Perfect Craft Glue and added Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Cello Sticker Tape. I fixed the remaining stamped images in place using Simon Says Stamp Thin 3D foam squares to add dimension.
I fixed Tim Hotz/Idea-ology Label Stickers to scraps of Distress Watercolor card, trimmed and fixed on the panels. To finish I matted the panels on to A2 pieces of Distress Kraft HeavyStock and fixed to top-folding A2 white card blanks.

I'll be back soon to share more makes using the other newly released die sets. In the meantime, have fun with whatever you're making.
