Sneaky Peeks

Morning All......another gorgeous morning here in Aberdeenshire.....is it really Spring or are we just being lulled into a false sense of security....let's face it the weather in this country can be beautiful one day and blizzards the next.....and as my old Mum used to say...."dinna cast a cloot til May be oot" .....now I just know you are thinking "WHAT" and translation coming up.....unless you are a fellow North East of Scotland resident....my buddy Dawn will know what I mean...it means " DO NOT REMOVE ANY ARTICLE OF YOUR CLOTHING UNTIL MAY IS OUT.....now some folks think that it means the end of the month of May....but what it actually means is......"until the blossom on the May Tree is in flower".  
Here you are...popping over this morning for a sneaky peek.....and you also get a little bit of useless information....but you never know when it might come in handy.....if you are stuck for conversation at a party or hey it could even be the winning question on "Who Wants To Be a Millionaire".   Well enough of the educational stuff.....on with the crafty stuff.......and sneaky peeks......

A little word of warning.....look out your shades for these two.....Kath has gone a little wild in the colour department......yes.....they are bright.....very bright.  Will be back later with.....wait for it.....another challenge card.....yes....can you believe it.....but "The Budster" is chomping at the bit for his morning walk....so will need to take the piccie when I come back.....so toodle oo....for now.

    well you learn something new every day - I didn't know about the May tree. We were always told to keep our vests on until the end of May :)

    I didn't realise it was about a May Tree either.I certainly didn't cast any of mine this morning although lots of parents in the playground were dressed for summer.

    Looking forward to seeing what lies ahead with the sneaky peek. Here NC, USA we have a couple of nice days then it gets quite chilly again. So that is how spring is today.

    Well here in the North East my Nana always used to say ' Never cast a clout til May is out' and I honestly thought it meant to keep your vest and coat on !! - have some blog candy up for grabs to celebrate my blogaversary and the onset of spring
