Enough of my weather woes....it's Wednesday and time to join in the fun over at WOYWW and share what's on my workdesk today...well folks there hangs another tale. I have absolutely loads and loads and loads of crafty stuff I could be doing....so why on earth did I suddenly decide to have a tidy in the cubbyhole.....search me...must have been one of those mad hormone moments us girls suffer from occasionally.......needless to say once you start there is no turning back. Complete and utter chaos which even a cuppa can't fix but no option now but to grit my teeth and get stuck in and what's the bet that it will all end up back where it was originally.
But there are some consolations...I'd completely forgotten about these Maya Road tins chock full of chipboard pieces...just need some extra crafty time to use them all up and then I'll have lots of fabby tins to alter....
and wow was this a surprise....opened my cute little M&S bankie to find £26 hiding inside.....suddenly my mad moment didn't seem such a bad idea....
and more good news for this microfibre chap.....he managed to escape from his dark and dingy cupboard for a rare outing.....
but I am off out for lunch today.....so gotta get dusting....catch up with you all tomorrow
Hugs Kath xxx
morning Kath - good luckwith your tidying, if that was us, we'd have shuffled stuff onto the floor and started using the stash we'd just found! I've got one of those M&S tins and try to save up £1 coins to turn into euros for holiday spending! Mary
ReplyDeleteHi Ya Kath
ReplyDeletegreat post, oh we really shouldnt start the sorting lark, but you had some lovely finds. Be lovely when its finished, enjoy lunch, happy WOYWW, sue,x
It always looks the worst right before the end. And to think you found all those chipboard pieces. Aren't you lucky. And money, too. Have a great day out and about and happy WOYWW.
ReplyDeleteHi Kath, I just changed my subscribing method to your blog...I will be taking myself off your Feedburner/blitz list as I am now on your followers list on the right sidebar. I love your card creations and of course, Buddy:) He is a beauty! I have been cruising your past posts and there are two little fotos of two "bad" puppies on 6 June 2008. They are so cute, could I use these two fotos on my blog? Wishing you a wonderful day.
ReplyDeletei know what you mean about how everything becomes a whole mess when you're tidying up! how nice to find those lovely tins!
ReplyDeleteMorning Kath & Buddy
ReplyDeleteThankyou so much Kath for making me feel so much better. Can't stop laughing at the tins of Maya Road goodies. I take it you are like me and when there is a choice of things then you can't decide which variety you want so you buy one of each (that's what it looks like anyway, and I do that). Why we do it I don't know but it is part of being a crafter.
Have a good . Hugs and tickles behind the ears - Denise & Meg
Happy find in your tidying - it can pay off sometimes, but I never find money!! Have a lovely lunch.
ReplyDeletePass me a tissue so I can wipe the drool off my chin as I look at all your crafty stash - and I KNOW that is not the half of it Kath! (I also know that jealousy will get me nowhere - and if my hubby could read this he would say I've got to be joking!) but I guess us crafty lot NEVER have enough!!
ReplyDeleteHave a good day and catch up soon.

Hi Kath
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely blog this morning! I do love a good nosey xx It always looks worse before it gets better when tidying the crafty stash. You are very controlled to not stop and make with your new finds. Hope you have a lovely lunch. My husband was going to treat me out for lunch but I am hugging the tissue box with a terrible cold, but at least the sun is shining down in Devon today. Love Em x
Forgotten stash, finding forgotten craft funds and out for lunch--- go girl --keep having a good day

Hay Kath, Isn't it just the best when you find a stash of money you forgot you put by.. i went to a festival one year, when we came back i packed everything away.. the following year i was getting ready for the festival again only to discover about £50 tucked into a purse, it had been sat there for a whole year lol

Good afternoon Kath, it was definitely blowy last night. You have lots of great stuff, I noted you didn't find the sweets in the tin lol. Night shift this week so they'll be no crafting for me or tidying, have a good day!

Good grief, you were seized by something - I shouldn't have thought you ever had the need to do all that! Still, the two finds were worth it, and I hope it didn't take too long to put back into workable!
