The first challenge of a new month and the Design Team are showcasing some fabulous Sizzix Products. Sizzix make a huge range of products, Die Cutting Machines, Dies, Embossing Folders and so much more...you don't have to use Sizzix products to join in the challenge but if you have them we would love to see what you create with them.
And we have a new Guest Designer for the month of July...the lovely and very talented Beulah Bee is returning to the Designer Spotlight to share more of her fabulous projects with us.
The theme this week is...
RED WHITE and/or BLUE
and I decided to decorate a chipboard panel to send some Love Across The Miles to all my American crafty friends who will be celebrating Independence Day tomorrow...
I applied a wash of Faded Jeans Distress Oxide to Distress Watercolor card using a baby wipe and then used the Mini Layering stencil from Set 11 to create stripes.
I used a left-over Globe Thinlits die cut as a stencil
Iand stamped the images from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous London Sights with Candied Apple Distress Ink...Faded Jeans Distress Oxide and Black Archival...
and the image from Documented with Black Archival...
added Travel Design Tape...Alpha Transparent Tiles
Alphanumeric Thinlits die cuts and Label Letters. I applied Ranger Opaque Texture Paste using the Stars Mini Layering Stencil from Set 11.
I stamped the bird from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Bird Crazy and the accessories from Crazy Things on to Distress Watercolor card...
coloured with Candied Apple and Wild Honey Distress Ink and Faded Jeans Distress Oxide and die cut with the matching Sizzix Framelits...
