but I got there in the end and the DT project for Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge is finally in the bag...
I decided to ignore the list of things to do and have some playtime with the gorgeous Bouquet of Thanks stamp set and matching dies from Simon Says Stamp...a love at first sight "must-have" purchase...
using up one of those Distress Oxide backgrounds with Simon Says Stamp Stitched Squares Dies to create a frame and simple watercolouring with Distress Oxide Wild Honey and Twisted Citron...
and a simple sentiment using Script Thanks...
But there's been great news too...my hero Mr Federer has made it through to the Semis and fingers crossed will be stepping out on to the hallowed turf of Wimbledon Centre Court on Sunday for the Mens Final and last but definitely not least...the very very "makes me very happy" WOOOHOOO news that my crafting hero...our adorable Professor is coming to the UK in September to teach at Art From The Heart...you can find all the details and how to book your place HERE...
Have a great weekend whatever you're planning and I'll be back on Monday with my DT project for Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. In the meantime...an outing with the Friday Girls is on today's agenda...a hitting the road on a coffee lunch and lots of chat adventure is just what I need.
