You Bring The Sunshine...

Hi folks, I'm sharing a card made with the Simon Says Stamp Cool Summer July Card Kit  and you can check out all the products included in the kit HERE. A card celebrating the gorgeous sunshine weather we've been having in my neck of the woods for what seems like forever and believe me, that's not a regular occurrence in the North East of Scotland so I'm hanging in there and enjoying it while I can.
I coloured a panel of Distress Watercolor card with Broken China, Twisted Citron, Fossilized Amber and Abandoned Coral Distress Oxide inks, using a mini round blending tool and spritzed with water using the Distress Sprayer. I die cut the card using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Stacked Deckle Thinlits, trimmed the frame, attached to an A2 top folding card blank, fixed the panel back in place and rounded the corners. I added the Umbrella Sticker from the American Crafts Amy Tangerine "Sunshine and Good Times" sticker book included in the kit.
I stamped the sun image from the "One Cool Pineapple" stamp set with SSS Intense Black ink on to the background, stamped again with Fossillized Amber Distress Oxide and SSS Intense Black on to a scrap of Distress Watercolor card and die cut using a Hero Arts Nesting Circle die.
I stamped the sentiment with Versamark ink and heat embossed with Ranger Superfine White Embossing Powder, stamped the sunglasses with Intense Black, the hearts with Abandoned Coral on to Distress Watercolor card, fussy cut leaving a border and added SSS Summer Gold sequins.
But all these sunshine days are playing havoc with the crafting production line, because there's been lots of this...

and in the afternoons, we've retreated to the sofa and been glued to the TV now that the
Wimbledon fortnight of tennis has begun.

and fingers crossed that my hero will be Wimbledon Men's Singles Champion for the ninth time
