I trimmed a panel of Simon Says Stamp #120 Ultra White card to measure 4" x 5.1/4" and used the watercolour smooshing technique to add colour to the background. If you are not familiar with this technique, it's really easy and lots of fun. I tapped the Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide ink pad on to a piece of plastic, spritzed with water and pressed on to the card, leaving it for a few seconds to allow the card to absorb the ink and repeated until I was happy with the coverage.
I picked up the remaining ink on a paintbrush, flicked it over the background to create splatters and dried with a heat tool.I stamped the LOVE letters on to a scrap of the white card using Simon Says Stamp Intense Black ink, sprinkled with Ranger Superfine Clear Embossing Powder and heat set. I stamped the heart image with Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide and fussy cut around both, leaving a small white border. I coloured the letters with the Worn Lipstick droplets of ink left on the plastic.
I stamped the stitching from Bo Bunny Stitches (which is an old stamp set and I'm not sure if it is still available) and sentiment from Ornate Love with SSS Intense Black ink and the hearts from Stitches with Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide.
I fixed the letters and heart to the panel with Tim Holtz/Sizzix Mini Foam Adhesive, using my T Square Ruler (another crafter's must-have) to ensure they were straight.
I applied Distress Collage Medium Matte to the heart, sprinkled with Distress Clear Rock Candy Glitter and added a sequin.
I fixed the panel to SSS Black card and matted on to an A2 white card blank.
