Simon Says Stamp - Feminine/Girly

Hi Everyone...welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog...thank you for joining us for last week's challenge...we hope you can join us this week too because...

and the theme for this week is...
FEMININE/GIRLY
I created a Vintage panel using lots of pink and it was the perfect excuse for this girl to play with the fabulous new Distress Oxide Sprays.

I started by trimming Distress Mixed Media Heavystock to measure 6" x 8" and stamped the Ornate background stamp from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Ornate and Lace in the centre and the Vines background stamp from Vines and Roses around the edges, with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with Ranger Superfine White Embossing Powder.
I smooshed Antique Linen and Tattered Rose Distress Oxide inks on to my Glass Media Mat, spritzed with water and pulled the card through the inks, dried with my heat tool and then tapped the card back into the inks to pick up all the droplets. Once the card was dry, I buffed with a soft cloth cloth to remove the ink from the embossed areas.
I placed the card in my SplatBox and sprayed with Walnut Stain Distress Oxide Spray. I spritzed lightly with water and dried with my heat tool.
I repeated the process with Picked Raspberry and Walnut Stain again, spritzing with water and drying between layers until I was happy with the outcome.
I inked the Vines background with Seedless Preserves Distress Oxide ink and stamped randomly over the background, holding the stamp in my hands, rather than using an acrylic block.
I sprayed Walnut Stain Distress Oxide Spray through the Gradient Hex Layering Stencil, turned the stencil over and pressed on to the card, using the Distress Oxide Spray left on the front of the stencil to create a Monoprint effect.
I tore the edges of an Idea-ology Photobooth, inked with Walnut Stain Distress Oxide ink and machine stitched in place. I then machine stitched 2 or 3 times around the edges.
I die-cut Tim Holtz/Sizzix Wildflower Stems 1 from Distress Mixed Media Heavystock, coloured with Seedless Preserves and Walnut Stain Distress Oxide inks by tapping the ink pads over the die cuts and spritzing with water and coloured the centre of the white flower using a Distress Detailer Brush.
I added Idea-ology Mummy Cloth to the panel (and I wish I had stocked up on this seasonal product-my stash is running low and I need to go into "use sparingly" hoarding mode), coloured a scrap of Distress Mixed Media Heavystock with the Distress Oxide Sprays and die cut using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Heartfelt Bigz Die. From the same scrap I cut out a pot shape, fixed in place with Tim Holtz/Sizzix Mini Foam Adhesive and added the die-cut Wildflower Stems 1.
I added an Idea-ology Quote Chip
and Idea-ology Clippings Stickers.
I finished off by fixing the panel to white cardstock and Distress Core'dinations (a 12" x 12" pad I've had in my stash from way back and the colour was the perfect match) sanded back to reveal the lighter core.
