It's The Professor Again...

Hi folks, I'm back to share another project using the Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous The Professor CMS 373, Distinguished CMS 371 and Inventor 7 CMS 374 stamp sets to decorate a 5" x 7" Tim Holtz Hard-Core Alcohol Ink Art Panel which comes in a pack of 3.
Hard-Core Panels are double sided vinyl with an engineered wood rigid core of MDF board, an ideal non-porous surface for mixed media which remains rigid and flat. The vinyl is mounted with a PH non-yellowing permanent adhesive which creates a bright white, lightly textured surface. The panels are available in several pack and size options and if you're feeling frugal, you can always turn it over and use the other side for a different project, I won't tell if you don't.

I started off by adding Splendor, Mineral Alcohol Pearl inks and Blending Solution to the Art Panel and tilted the panel back and forth to allow the ink to run around. I then added splatters of Pitch Black Alcohol Ink using a small paintbrush.
I stamped the images from The Professor and Inventor 7 with Black Soot Archival and using the Deco Foil Adhesive Pen, added Gina K Designs Dazzling Orange Foil which happened to be still sitting on my workdesk from Simon Says Stamp DT project. I hold my hands up...I'm not very good at tidying things away and usually have a mega purge at the end of the week.
I stamped the images from The Professor on to a scrap of Distress Mixed Media Heavystock using Black Soot Distress Archival.
fussy cut and coloured with Vintage Photo and Faded Jeans Distress Oxide inks using a Distress Detailer Brush. I added Idea-ology Snippets Ephemera, an Idea-ology Milk Cap and Quote Chip and fixed the Professor in place using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Mini Foam Adhesive to create dimension.
I coloured the Quote Chip and a scrap of Yupo White Paper with Splendor and Tranquil Alcohol Pearl inks, tapping it on with a paintbrush and lightening by dipping the brush in blending solution. I stamped the image from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Distinguished with Black Soot Distress Archival and trimmed to create a banner.
I fixed the banner and hat in place using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Mini Foam Adhesive and added Idea-ology Classic Labels (there are 4 colours of labels in the pack, I used Blue) tinted with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide ink, Numbers and Tiny Text Remnant Rubs

I covered The Professor with a scrap of paper and flicked splatters of Tranquil Alcohol Pearl ink over the Art Panel and added extra accents of the Dazzling Orange Foil to the Quote Chip and stamped banner using the Deco Foil Adhesive Pen.

I finished off by edging the panel with Black Soot Distress Paint using a dabber top.
The middle of the week already and it seems that Winter has returned to my little corner of the planet. It's cold, wet and windy, perfect weather for snuggling up in the cubbyhole with my Furry Companion, the not so good news is, with the pungent aroma of wet dog.
Toodle-oo for now
