Team Work Makes The Dream Work

Hi my friends, the first batch of Easter cards and gift bags for Brodie's Machu Picchu World Challenge 2021 fund raising has rolled off the production line. It's true that many hands make light work, team work certainly makes the dream work and it was great fun having Brodie join me in the cubbyhole for this crafty session.
And lesson learned from past experiences, crafty makes certainly flow off the production line faster if you keep things simple. We began by adding a panel of  WERMK paper from an "as old as the hills" box of 12 x 12 papers to A2 kraft card blanks and the left over strips to Kraft Gift Bags. We stamped the bird from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Bird Crazy on to Distress Watercolor card, coloured with Distress Inks and Distress Markers, die- cut using the matching set of Thinlits, added Ranger Glossy Accents to the eyes and fixed in place with Tim Holtz/Sizzix Mini Foam Adhesive. While my new cubbyhole companion die-cut and coloured the centres of Tim Holtz/Sizzix Small Tattered Florals assisted by the trusty Sidekick, I die-cut the Alphanumeric 1" Tall Thinlits and Simon Says Stamp Happy Wafer Thin Die for the sentiment.
Then it was time for the Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Crazy Birds assembly line to kick into gear.

We finished with stamping "Happy" from Simon Says Stamp Some Bunny stamp set inked with Simon Says Intense Black ink on to the card panel.
But all work and no play is no fun at all, so there was lots of chatting, much giggling, many pit stops along the way for coffee/tea and snacks and a quick trip to Subway for lunch. After packing and labelling our day's makes, two very tired crafters tidied up the debris, called it a day and retreated to the kitchen to enjoy a yummy pizza for tea and some chill out time watching TV.
Toodle-oo for now
