Daring Cardmakers Challenge

Morning folks....and have I had a tootering about kind of a weekend....not achieving much of anything...I'm sure you can all relate to that one but I did manage to get a challenge card done....but first things first... a very special lady is celebrating a birthday today.....yes Ruth....my lovely  teamie from Funky Hand.....Ruth aka Tip Top...and boy the name says it all....she is one of the most generous and kindest girls in blogland and an absolute pleasure to work alongside.....so here's wishing you a very "Happy Birthday" sweetheart.
And the birthstone challenge for April from Daring Cardmakers is......

DIAMOND

Image: Hero Arts...Cling..Antique Brocade
Feathers....flowers and gems from stash

I struggled with this one....so it's back to the simples again....because I am definitely not a sparkly diamond kinda girl....the only diamonds I own are in my engagement ring......Mr Mojo seems to have left the building.....probably off somewhere stuffing himself full of easter eggs and all my thoughts at the moment seem to be taken with up with tiles...tiles...tiles and the quicker I make up my mind and get the pesky things ordered....the quicker I can get back in the crafty groove....and just to add to the doom and gloom....the weather here has been  dark...rainy and dismal.....so the camera didn't want to play either.
And what am I up to today....just waiting for my two little visitors to arrive....Brodie and Oliver are coming to spend the day with us.....let's hope it stays dry so we can get out and about with The Budster for a while and burn off some of their energy.....3 stir crazy hooligans = bedlam....whereas 3 tired hooligans = a peaceful afternoon all curled up on the sofa watching a DVD.
Catch up with you all tomorrow.....I've been having a little fun with Tim Holtz.

  1. Lovely card Kath. Simply elegant. I know where you are coming from with the choosing of tiles. I went that route a few weeks ago. Mine are the large ones and they do look fabulous when finally on the walls.

  5. This is really elegant Kath. Love it.

Sounds like you're going to have a fun time with the boys and Buddy. We had a lovely weekend visiting Poppy and Oliver. Didn't do much but Grampa finished the swing etc. So now Poppy has a swing and pirate boat as well as a chute. She's well impressed!!
