What's on My Workdesk Wednesday

Morning folks....the dodgy throat saga is still ongoing but after 3 days of skivving off and feeling a tad sorry for myself ...it's time to get back to work and join in the fun over at Julia's place with all those lovely crafters who take time out to share their crafty desks with the whole world at WOYWW.  The kitting jobs are piling up and they don't do themselves so today is going to be a Seam Binding and Divine Twine Day...measuring chopping and folding...
and all done whilst sitting watching telly...
By the way that is not The Furry Boy asleep at the patio doors...just one of the many cuddly toys which he leaves strewn around the house and for the lovely ladies who will be joining me for a fun crafty day in Perth on 15th October...a few sneaky peeks...

I know it's six weeks away but I'm trying to keep ahead of the game...the supplies for our "Girls Just Want To Have Fun" workshop will be arriving next week...it's only a week and a bit before I leave for Harrogate and the GNPE and crikey only 9 weeks until the Fiskars Workshops at the NEC...the Big Mama of kitting jobs so it looks like I will be meeting myself coming back for some time to come.
Catch up with you all tomorrow
Hugs Kath xxx

I'm not usually up at 6am but bit late with my usual 1-2 am biscuits & drink! Better get back to bed for some more sleep.

  17. like your new blog top Kath - happy kitting and hello to Buddy - glad to see he has toys all over as well - Haggis (who is not well at the moment) leaves his everywhere and greets everyone with a soft toy in his mouth (unless your unlucky and the nearest thing to hand is his very hard hide bone which is not nice to get in your face while he licks you!!!) 21. Love that view from your tray...strewn. There's a word..for one toy hurled against the door! I would gladly come and help with the kitting, as long as there's no die cutting...I quite like the sort of rhythm you get into. For a while! Like the way your blog is sorted...v clever.

  23. Love your new look - a banner of just Buddy pics, what more could a Buddy fan ask for. That throat lurgy is down this way too, although I'm convinced DH brought it back from a visit to Manchester! Love the colour of the seam binding - gorgeously vibrant. Wishing you a speedy recovery. This is my first visit to your delightful blog but I think the first of many visits. I found you on WOYWW, feel free to pop by and see me if you have a few minutes spare.

  29. This kitting project looks difficult to me, since I have trouble tying anything. Maybe that's why I use so little ribbon. But it looks like you have it under control. Sorry to read you've been ill. Mindless tasks are always best when you don't feel well.

I noticed your new blog banner. Buddy looks good: smaller, but good!

  30. I think there is something quite therapeutic about sitting with a good telly prog and measuring out ribbon and you have chosen a stunning colour to play with!!
