and here's Tim's tag for February
And you know me any excuse to skive off from the work stuff but one look at Tim's tag had the cubbyhole crew in panic mode...we don't have that stamp or embossing folder or the cute cherub or the honeycomb paper so it was definitely going to be another "adapt and overcome" project...
I used Tim's Postal Set Texture Fade inking it up with the Snowcap Paint Dabber before embossing...OK that meant that the wording would be back to front and it was deboss rather than emboss but that will be our little secret...my take on the honeycomb heart was done with a Fiskars punch glueing loads together to get that concertina effect and I think it came out rather well considering. The week is disappearing a little too quickly for my liking so today has definitely got to be a work day...that is if nothing else pops up to tempt me away from the job in hand. See you all tomorrow for sneaky peek Friday and perhaps one of those rare occurrences...a challenge card.
Hugs Kath xxx

Now I love your example of improvisation - I've been wondering if I could have a go with none of the embossing folders, a few of the dies & a set of Distress Inkpads; most of it would be overcoming. Super layered heart & I love that key charm.
ReplyDeleteThat time stealing imp is really being naughty......
