From the Archives

Hi folks...I'm in serious kitting mode for the Craft Retreat this coming weekend at The Papeterie and really looking forward to spending time with the lovely crafters who will be joining Debbi...Erika and yours truly for 2 days of guaranteed fun and laughter with some crafty stuff thrown in for good measure.  But you really don't want to see the state of the cubbyhole right now and with the pot of bloggy stuff to share running dry I had to dig into the archives for a project I made for Sizzix way back in July...a collage frame using the fabulous new embossing folders they sent me to play with...
If you pop across here on a regular basis you'll know that anything to do with stitching floats my boat and I love embossing folders that have bits and pieces you can cut out to stand alone...
Love the gorgeous vintage scissors from the Sewing & Measuring Tape folder and the Vintage Buttons folder is one of my favourites...I cut out the centre and used one of Timmie's idea-ology packs to hold the buttons in place...

Now here's a little mystery for you...I had quite a few e-mails yesterday from folks saying that they contacted me several times last week and as yet I haven't replied....don't know what's going on...I have replied to all the e-mails in my Inbox...in fact I'm a bit of a stickler for trying to reply the same day...first job of the day along with the first cuppa...so apologies from me if you haven't had a reply but I just didn't receive them...who knows where they've gone and yes I have checked my spam box...don't you just love the wonders of technology...how come the e-mails that irritate the life out of you...the viagra...the extension to that part of your anatomy you don't have...the huge tax rebates you're due and how many times have you won the lottery...you know the ones I mean...never seem to get lost in cyberspace.
See you all tomorrow
Hugs Kath xxx

  12. Hi Kath,
Your frame is just gorgeous. I love the colours, and all the embossing folders look fab. I like how you've cut out the middle of the Vintage Buttons one, and reused the Idea-ology packaging - clever. I save all mine too - just never get around to using it!
Wish I was going on the retreat - did think about it, maybe the next one. xx

  15. Goodness me those scissors are just beckoning ......... & the colours terrific again. The details have the eyes skidding here, there & everywhere.
All the best kitting...... just checked I didn't insert an "N" into that ......'twould be sew easy.
Strange about the emails.....hm ..... wonder what those people on Planet Zog are making of all the goings on.
