No WOYWW today...

Morning folks...can you believe the Olympics and Paralympics 2012 are over...what a wonderful summer of inspiration it's been...hats off to all the athletes who made us all so proud whether they won medals or not.
It's changed days on the weather front ...the expected Summer bonanza of sunshine for September doesn't look like it's going to live up to the Meteorological Office's hype...well not where I live anyway...in fact...there's snow forecast for Cairngorm already which isn't very far away as the crow flies...is it time to look out the winter woolies and back to the "sitting on the radiator" chilly cubbyhole morning posts.
No WOYWW for me today...I'm hopping back onto the kitting treadmill again...should have known that all that skivving off and spending the last 2 days doing the grandkiddie school run and playing nursemaid companion to a poorly Brodie would mean I'll be going like the clappers for the rest of the week to catch up but hey that's life in the cubbyhole and before I knuckle down...I'm sharing some playtime makes with Hero Arts and those gorgeous Frantage Embossing powders and glitters...
and Ranger's Sticky Embossing Powder and Distress Stickles Dry Rock Candy Glitter

and for all those crafters who will be joining me in the headless chicken dash in the run up to Christmas...quick and easy (made in half an hour) Christmas Cards using Hero Arts beautiful Shadow Inks...
L-to-R...Soft Leaf...Soft Blossom...Mid Tone Pool...Wet Cement...Soft Apricot

See you all tomorrow
Hugs Kath xxx

  18. These are lovely Christmas cards Kath, and quick cards are good, especially when they look so pretty when they're done. I've not started mine yet. Thanks for the inspiration, I don't have this particular stamp but I could substitute this image for one of many that I do have... and some of them never having tasted ink yet, now hanging my head in shame, poor stamps :o(
I hope wee Brodie is feeling better soon.
