Lili Of The Valley Guest Design Spot...Week 2

Morning folks...here we go with the second project for my Guest Design Spot over at Lili of The Valley's Ideas to Inspire Blog...can I just say a huge thank you for the lovely welcome you gave me last week and for all your lovely comments...you were so kind.
I fell in love with these little pots of kitchen herbs...aren't they so cute and so easy to colour with Distress Markers...perfect for cards for any gardeners in your life or for a new home card.   To make the house shaped card....I started off with an A5 blank...mark the centre on the top edge...draw a pencil line down to create a triangle shape and trim with scissors...easy peasy...I don't do difficult.  To create the brick effect on the front wall and chimney...I inked up an embossing folder with Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink before running it through the Big Shot...

Hope you like...I'm off to put my thinking cap on for next week...
See you all tomorrow

  17. WOW! I love the brick effect and the herb pots! I have the herb pots and used them for a gardener's birthday card, but never thought to use them on a 'new home' card too - thank you for the idea! The more use you can get out of a stamp the better!! :-)
