Idle hands mean trouble...

Hi folks...I'm definitely a "got to be doing" kind of person...even when I'm watching TV my hands have to be busy and with crafting out of the question due to the dodgy wrist I was sure there must be some little tidy up jobs in the cubbyhole I could manage and me being me I should have realised that this was probably going to lead to a whole lot of trouble...after all idle hands are the devil's tools or so they say.
What started off as a simple re-labelling the Distress Ink pads task turned into a mega re-arrangement of the cubbyhole's shelving system and all because the Lord of All Things Holtziness keeps bringing out more and more fabulous stuff...the cubbyhole supply of TH goodies needed more space and what I really need is this...
but they're made in Australia and I can't wait so time to move stuff around and commandeer another shelf...
but in solving that little problem I ended up creating another...the ribbon pile is now homeless and at the moment squatting on my workdesk...well it can't stay there indefinitely...
so I'm working on a plan for extra shelving but that will require all my powers of persuasion to sweet talk the DIY guru around here to move out to the freezing cold garage and spend some time with his jigsaw...wish me luck.
Wishing my fellow Scots wherever in the world you may be...a very Happy St Andrews Day...
I'll leave you with a sneaky peek...
and see you all tomorrow for another Penny Black Saturday Challenge
Hugs Kath xxx

Great sneak peek, hope I can enter PB this time round, if I have an appropriate stamp. Happy St Andrew's to you too, I think I can say it, being half Scottish........Hugs, Anne x

  10. Oh dear - homeless ribbons - temporarily try a shoe box......or three. They stack quite nicely & if you're really pushed for space they can be stuck under the desk to rest your feet upon (oh- you do need to be midget sized to get them out again but perhaps Buddy could lend a hand).
Take care Kath & thanks for the tangle go ahead.
Much love & get well wishes

  14. That storage looks great Kath. On the other hand the storage you have looks a lot better than mine! Good luck with the resident DIY expert, don't think I'd have much luck with mine. Funny how men can do something if it suits them!!

    Hope you're hand keeps improving.

Happy St Andrew's Day to you too. Needless to say I had to work on what should be a public holiday!
