Penny Black Saturday Challenge...April

Hi folks...the first Saturday of April and time to join in the fun over at The Penny Black Saturday Challenge where this month's theme is...

CATS AND DOGS

Penny Black are well known for their cute cats and dogs images unfortunately I don't have many large images that would stand alone on a card so it was time for a bit of thinking out of the box...sitting in the cubbyhole racking my brains and watching the rain run down the window turned my thoughts to April showers of which there have been many in my neck of the woods despite the weather man telling us it was going to be sunny bright and 15 degrees and I don't know about you but sometimes I wander off on a journey of word association...could I get away with a cheeky "play on words" card...inspired by the raining cats and dogs weather...

and as luck would have it...the old memory kicked in and I remembered this cute dog from the "Critters Party Transparent Set"...don't you just love when a plan comes together. Before you ask the papers are from that gorgeous freebie bundle in last month's Simply Cards and Papercraft...
