Hi folks..."I'm not playing" she says in her toddler tantrum sulky bottom lip voice and that's the problem...Mrs Grumpy is feeling a little hard done by this morning but there's nothing to be gained from stamping my feet in frustration or sitting in the corner sucking my thumb...the quicker I crack on with the Fiskars Workshop kitting...
scoring/folding 240 easel cards and transforming plain old card into wonderful Distress colour backgrounds with a bit of embossing thrown in for good measure...the quicker the kits are done...dusted....packed and on their way to Birmingham (I'm beginning to think I need my very own Mario)...
the sooner I'll get to play with these bundles of deliciousness...
well that's the theory but somehow it never seems to work in practice...I need to switch off the phone and lock myself in the cubbyhole for a week...oh now that would be bliss but work stuff pennies = cubbyhole stash goodies and 2 fun days in a row ain't gonna happen. I'll be back tomorrow to share what we made at yesterday's Kath's Klub. In the meantime...it's best foot forward...cheery face on...upwards and onwards is today's motto.
Hugs Kath xxx
I would certainly feel the same as you if I had that many to do..... just wish I lived a little closer and could give you a hand! I won't say enjoy your day, but hope you break the back of that mountain!! Hugs, Anne xx
ReplyDeleteThat is a lot of kits to do but you always seem so organised that I'm sure once you make a start on the task you will be well on the way to reaching your goal...those lovely goodies are certainly an incentive to get the kits done & dusted (if you can resist the temptation to have a little play).
ReplyDeleteI'm sure Buddy will be there to lend his support.

You need minions, is what you need! And if that pile of gorgeous TH goodness isn't enough to spur you on, I don't know what is!
ReplyDeleteAnd now, aside from the new distress colours (which are essential "can't craft without" items, naturally), I do believe I have just added dies, flash cards and new chit chat stickers to my shopping list!
Good luck. x
If I was nearer I would offer to help Kath. To use your own saying " Big Girls Knickers " comes to mind. Just keep thinking of the fun that will await when the kits are complete. Hugs Rita xxx

ReplyDeleteOh Kath....your posts are a great tonic on a bloomin cold miserable day. I shouldn't smile but I can just imagine you when you realised you had all that scoring etc to do!!!!
ReplyDeleteGet it done girl!!!! You will just have to get hubby or one of the grandchildren involved. Have a wee glass of something while you whistle
Huge hugs Annie x
The abandoned coral looks lovely Kath. Can't wait to see what you come up with. Good luck with the kits. At least it's a good day to stay inside x
ReplyDeleteGosh that's a lot of work but knowing you Kath you will sail through it and by now you'll be well on your way to the finished .....hopefully!!..... take care
