Oops...

Hi folks...yesterday didn't quite go according to plan...the weather was wet dull and dreary and I just couldn't get myself in the mood for a day of kitting so it was time to fall back on a tried and tested remedy...a bit of carrot dangling playtime usually does the trick to get me back on track so we looked out the gorgeous new Birch Trees Die from Mr H and had some fun with Black Soot...Spiced Marmalade...Wilted Violet and Twisted Citron Mini Ink Pads...perfect Halloween colours and this cute Bird Crazy Trick and Treater...
I know this die is going to become a favourite...the possibilities are endless
and I couldn't resist adding some golden highlights here and there using a Versamark Pen...Sticky Embossing Powder and the gorgeous Vintage Foil...
I'll be sharing another Birch Trees Die card later in the week but today's definitely going to be a "getting a wiggle on" kitting day...the card and chipboard stock is ready and waiting...
for a hot date with my trusty Fiskars Procision Trimmer friend...
before hitting the die cutting production line...
All part and parcel of the job I love...big girl knickers and coffee in abundance will get the job done...she says confidently with fingers and toes crossed just in case.
See you all tomorrow
Hugs Kath xxx

  6. Hi Kath,
Goodness, I do like the new die. Another to add to my ever growing list.
I spent yesterday trying to dismantle an old sofa that's been taking up way too much room in my bedroom. Today it looks like a bomb has teamed up with a tornado as I have to do a little at a time due to my back problems.
Anyway, I've done a wee bit more this morning but I've been distracted as my TH flower stamps finally arrived from America and I'm itching to play with them. I also managed to find a set of Brusho crystals at a very reasonable price so I'm hoping to use them with the new dies - note to Mr H, please bring out a die set to match the stamps as I'm useless at cutting out lol.
If I were closer to you, Kath, I'd drop in and give you a hand on the production line (I do love your trimmer). It looks like you're going to be more than a tad busy for the next few days. Have fun.
