I started off by stamping the bottle image on to a panel of Distress Watercolor Card and a scrap of masking paper, cut out the mask, fixed it over the bottle and stamped the beer mug slightly overlapping. I tapped Vintage Photo and Frayed Burlap Distress Oxide ink on to my non-stick craft mat, spritzed with water and applied a wash over the background using the Ranger Broad Water Brush. I then created shadows around the images and tapped the panel into the remaining droplets of ink to add some interest. I coloured the bottle and the word sections with Peeled Paint and Rusty Hinge Distress Markers using the Ranger Detailer Brush.
I stamped the beer mug again twice on to Distress Watercolour card, coloured wth Rusty Hinge and Black Soot Distress Markers, cut out the mug and then just the foam and fixed in place with 3D Foam. I then applied Ranger Opague Texture Paste through the Hive Layering Stencil and darkened up the edges of the panel with Walnut Stain Distress Crayon.
But if beer isn't your tipple of choice, I'll be back tomorrow to tempt you with a cocktail
In the meantime, the not so good news is...winter has returned to my neck of the woods, yesterday's morning stroll with my Furry Partner was a bit of a "wish I'd tucked my vest into my knickers" adventure...
but the GOOD news is that 2 "happy mail" bottles of magic have arrived in the cubbyhole
