seriously, they need to get a grip...it's Winter for goodness sake and as far back as I can remember, snow is not an unusual weather phenomenon at this time of the year. And I won't be clearing the car today, I'm staying put in the "warm as toast" cubbyhole because the fabulous Simon Says Stamp March Card Kit has arrived
and I've been cooking up a storm of my own...creating 6 cards in no time at all using the papers and stickers with a little bit of stamping. The kit has SOLD OUT, no surprise there, but most of the individual items are still available to buy, see the links below...
the stitched border stamp from the Choose Joy stamp set was inked with Antique Linen Distress Oxide
the flowers were coloured with Worn Lipstick, Wild Honey and Wilted Violet and the leaves with Peeled Paint and Forest Moss Distress Oxides.
I couldn't resist using that stitched border again inked with Tattered Rose Distress Oxide.
and I still have plenty bits and pieces left over to play with...
including two stamp sets and 2 ink pads...
and a little sneaky peek of one of the stamp sets from the Simon Says Stamp Best Ever Release due to go live on Thursday 8th March...
Toodle-oo for now

Absolutely fabulous set of cards Kath, love them and would find it hard to chose just one....
ReplyDeleteGlad you mentioned the met office's hysteria...flipping Nora, yes it's cold and we had a smuttering of snow and that's it...you enjoy your day, happy crafting....x
These are fabulous Kath! I love the different designs. The met office always have fits of hysteria when snow is involved. We haven't had it too bad to be fair here although we have had snow off and on all day. It has been sunny which has melted most of it away but boy has it been freezing cold with an icy wind. Stay safe and warm.

Lovely cards Kath, I don't normally do CAS but I love the clean lines and those round flowers are gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteWe have had about 4 inches of snow today, it is blowing a blizzard at the moment and they have not bothered to clear the roads, people are driving like idiots so we won't be going out again until they put some sand down. We have stocked up on food just in case!!! Keep warm my friend. Hugs, Anne xxx
Well the beast from the east has hit us hard, the most snow we have had for years, no buses, dreadful driving conditions, way more snow than you which makes a change but not for the better. Fabulous cards
