but let's start off with Beer
I trimmed down Distress Watercolor card to be slightly smaller than the A2 card blank, smooshed Hickory Smoke and Antique Linen Distress Oxide inks on to my non stick craft mat, dragged the panel through the ink, dried, spritzed and pounced to pick up the remaining droplets of ink. I stamped the Beer Word image with Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide randomly over the background and heat set with Ranger Super Fine Clear Embossing Powder. I die cut a Sizzix Framelits circle from the panel and stamped the beer mug and pretzel images with Black Soot Distress Oxide on to the circle.
I colored the edges of the panel and the circle with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide and fixed the circle back in place with 3D foam. I coloured the beer mugs and pretzels with Vintage Photo using a detailer brush, popped the foam on the beer mugs up with 3D foam and fixed them in place over the original stamped images. I then stamped the Beer Word image with Vintage Photo, cut out the word section and fixed over the background image.
I decided to add another pretzel to balance things out, cut out the word images and fixed them over the original stamping.
And if beer isn't your tipple, I'll be back tomorrow to share a Wine Mini Blueprints card.
Toodle-oo for now

Hi Kath
ReplyDeleteGreat card! You have given me a good idea for a 21st card for a man.
Thanks for the inspiration.

what a great card Lath! I don't know how you think of these ideas but they are great! Cheers!
ReplyDeleteA totally brilliant card Kath, I love the gorgeous background colours and the whole design is wonderful! The 'salt' you added to the pretzels gives them such a realistic look!
ReplyDeleteHope you are keeping warm, I can't believe how much snow we have and the Siberian wind is rattling our windows... hope it all goes away soon, not a great start to Spring! Hugs, Anne xx
