and the cubbyhole crew having to dig ourselves out after the nice man with the snow plough dumped a 2 foot lunar landscape at the entrance to our driveway...
but the cover was looking decidedly tatty and a bit paint splattered so it was time for a bit of a make-over. I applied two coats of Black Gesso and looked out Dylusion Creative Dyary Stickers, Creative Dyary Stick-Its, Dylusions Clearly The Right Words stamps and my trusty Sakura White Gelly Roll Penand got to work on my "have no idea where this is going" doodling to my hearts content adventure...
finishing off with a coat of Distress Collage Medium Matte to make sure everything stays firmly stuck down.
and right on cue, a brand new "can't wait to make a start on Journal 2" replacement has arrived.
The thaw is underway...yesterday was a "rain like stair rods" washout of a day which meant donning my Sou'wester and Wellies for the strolls with my Furry Partner. Heavy rain + One Very Hairy Dog = a definite whiff of wet dog in the cubbyhole.
Toodle-oo for now

Loving this journal cover, Kathy. After last week's Nor'easter that just narrowly missed us in Southern Maine, blasted Boston, and then went to you, we have another one coming, this time with 12-18" of snow. Wonder if you'll be next. Stay warm and cupboards full.
ReplyDeleteI love your funky journal cover Kath, it looks fabulous! I am certainly looking forward to seeing how you fill up the next one! I am hoping our snow stays gone... enough is enough - lol. Sorry to hear about your drive though.... Hugs, Anne xx
