Stampers Anonymous Mini Blueprints 10 - Pop A Cork

Hi folks...I'm back with the second card made with Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Mini Blueprints 10 stamp set, this time featuring the Wine images...

I trimmed a piece of  Distress Watercolor card and white cardstock to be slightly smaller than the A2 card blank and coloured the watercolor card with Aged Mahogany Distress Oxide ink using the usual smooshing, drying spritzing and picking up the ink droplets method. I embossed the panel with the Bubbles Texture Fade from the Waves and Bubbles Set (haven't linked this as I think it is an older set) and sanded back the detail to reveal the white core of the card. I die cut 3 circles using the Sizzix Framelits Circle dies which were still sitting on my workdesk.
I placed the coloured panel in the Stamp Platform and stamped the images using Black Archival.
I then placed the white cardstock panel in the Stamp Platform and because I had left the stamps in the same position was able to stamp them again in exactly the same position.
I stamped the bottle, wine glass, grapes, word panels and corkscrew again on to Distress Watercolor card, coloured them with Distress Oxide inks using the Detailer Brush, cut out and fixed on top of the original stamping. I restamped the bottle label, the handle of the corkscrew and some of the vine leaves, cut them out and popped them up on 3D foam pads.
I die cut the letters from card coloured with Distress Oxide inks using Tim Holtz Sizzix Gift Bag Thinlits. I die cut the word CORK from 2 layers of white card and one from Idea-ology Cork Textured Surfaces to make it stand out on the coloured background and edged all the letters with a Sharpie Black Fine Liner Pen.

and to fill up the gap in the bottom circle, added a die cut heart
I added white highlights to the wine glass and some of the grapes with a Sakura White Gelly Roll Pen and added Glossy Accents to the wine glass, the label on the bottle, the grapes and the heart.

No Friday Girls outing today, we've decided not to venture out driving in this wintry weather, there's been loads more snow and there's no point adding to the chaos on the roads if your journey isn't necessary. And the daily strolls with my Furry Companion have become a bit of a struggle...a slippery slidey affair for this "only got two legs" human.
perhaps it's time to dig out the perfect footwear and mode of transport for this kind of weather

and the irony is, although there has been heavy snowfall on my local ski slopes, the access roads are impassable and I have the greatest respect for the guys at Cairngrom Mountain who at the moment are fighting a losing battle to keep the roads open even with the help of a snowblower and when all's said and done, the safety of their customers is always their top priority.

I'll be back tomorrow to share another Mini Blueprints 10 card.
Toodle-oo for now
Hugs Kath xxx
