Simon Says...Add A Little Sparkle

Hi Everyone...welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog...thank you for joining us for last week's challenge...we hope you can join us this week too because...

and the theme for this week is...
ADD A LITTLE SPARKLE
I made a Cocktail Beach Party card using  new and old favourite Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous stamp sets - Cocktails Blueprints, Handwritten Thoughts and Crazy Cats and I know the theme says "A Little Sparkle" but I didn't get that memo and added sparkle at every opportunity.
I trimmed a panel of  Mixed Media Heavystock to 4.1/2" x 6.1.2" and coloured using Abandoned Coral, Spiced Marmalade and Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide inks which seems to be a favourite colour combo at the moment.
I laid the Splotches Mini Layering Stencil from Set 9 on the panel and dabbed with a slightly damp cloth which removed some of the colour from the background.
I stamped the image from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Cocktails Blueprints and the sentiment from Handwritten Thoughts with Black Soot Archival and heat set with Ranger Superfine Clear Emobssing Powder. I applied Ranger Opague Texture Paste through the Splotches Mini Layering Stencil and flicked on some drops of Distress Resist Spray.
I sprinkled Clear Rock Candy Distress Glitter on to the spots of Distress Resist Spray which is technically a glue and will hold the glitter in place. I then put a little Clear Rock Candy Distress Glitter into the lid of the jar and added a pinch or two of Ranger Superfine White Detail Embossing Powder, sprinkled on to the Texture Paste and heat set when the paste was dry.
The texture paste is much more sparkly in real life than in the photos.
I stamped the Crazy Cat image and accessories from Crazy Things on to Mixed Media Heavystock with Black Soot Archival, coloured with Distress Markers using a Distress Detailer Water Brush and die- cut with the matching Framelits using the Tim Holtz/Sizzix Sidekick. I make no apologies for singing the praises of this cute little machine AGAIN, it's the best thing since sliced bread,an amazing portable "take anywhere" game changing time-saver.
I stamped the Cocktail Blueprint image again on to Mixed Media Heavystock, heat embossed as before, coloured with Distress Markers, fussy cut and popped up on 3D foam to create dimension. I added Glossy Accents to the glass and cherry and highlights with a Sakura White Gelly Roll pen.
I coated the balloons with Distress Collage Medium Matte and sprinkled with Clear Rock Candy Distress Glitter. I popped the cat up on 3D foam, added Glossy Accents to his eyes and used Eclectic Elements Black thread for the balloon strings. I used Simon Says Stamp Summer Gold Sequins to add a little more sparkle.
I added the panel to white cardstock and fixed Idea-ology Halloween Design Tape around the edge, trimmed leaving a white border and added to a 5" x 7" black card blank,
