The Professor's No 1 Fan...

Hi folks, I'm sharing a card dedicated to My Adorable Professor - you may know him as Tim Holtz, using Stampers Anonymous The Professor CMS 373, Inventor 8 CMS 375 and Distinguished CMS 371 stamp sets from the March release. I was absolutely over the moon and so happy to see Tim and Mario back on Facebook Live yesterday showcasing the latest Chapter 2 release from Sizzix and I'm not going to lie, I did shed a few tears, tears of joy that Tim is looking so well, that this story had a very happy ending and that my favourite guys are getting back in the swing.
If you follow my blog, you'll know that...I AM TIM'S NO 1 FAN...but I have a feeling there may well be a long queue of folks also claiming that title.
So let's get started. I trimmed Distress Mixed Media Heavystock to measure 5" x 7", coloured with Old Paper Distress Oxide ink using the very familiar smooshing, spritzing and picking up the remaining drops of colour technique. I inked the fan image from Inventor 7 with Hickory Smoke Distress Archival, wiped off some of the ink and stamped on the background.
I used Frayed Burlap Distress Oxide ink applied with a mini round blending tool and the Patchwork Circle Mini Layering Stencil frm Set 41 to create a layer of interest. I inked the text sections of the fan stamp with Black Soot Distress Archival and stamped randomly on the background.
I added splatters of Faded Jeans Distress Oxide ink.
I stamped the fan image several times on to Distress Mixed Media Heavystock, coloured with Frayed Burlap and Faded Jeans Distress Oxide inks using a Distress Detailer Brush and fussy cut the fan and the blade sections.
I fixed the fan in place with Distress Collage Medium Matte and added strands of Eclectic Elements Threads, trimmed with my super sharp Tim Holtz/Tonic Studios 6" Haberdashery Scissors.
I stamped the circle and ruler images from The Professor on the background using Black Soot and Faded Jeans Distress Archival. I stamped The Professor himself and his hat on a scrap of Distress Mixed Media Heavystock, with the same inks, fussy cut and coloured the jacket and lenses of the specs with Faded Jeans using the Distress Detailer Brush.
I fixed the Professor and his hat in place with Tim Holtz/Sizzix Mini Foam Adhesive.  I used an old number Movers and Shapers to die cut "1" from a die cut circle coloured with Faded Jeans and Frayed Burlap Distress Oxide inks, sanded to give a distressed look and added Idea-ology Clipping Stickers.
I used Tim Holtz/Sizzix Lower Cut Thinlits to create the "fan" banner in the same way.
and added a Tim Holtz Assemblage Charm threaded with Eclectic Elements Thread.

I matted the panel on to a 6" x 8" white card blank, covered with Classic Kraftstock which had been sanded back to reveal the kraft core.
I'll be back tomorrow to share another Professor project, in the meantime have fun with whatever you're creating.
Hugs Kath xxx
