Hi my friends, I'm sharing a card I made for the Facebook Live launch of Tim Holtz/Sizzix Chapter 4 release using Darling Deer Thinlits, Cathedral BigZ die and the waste from the Arctic Thinlits. If you missed the Facebook Live, you can catch up and check out all the new products and inspirational samples over on Tim's Blog HERE.
I began by spritzing Black Soot, Dusty Concord and Speckled Egg Distress Oxide sprays on to the craft mat on my Glass Media Mat, spritzed with water and laid a 4.3/4" x 6.3/4" panel of Distress Watercolor card on to the ink. I dried and tapped the card back into the remaining droplets of ink repeatedly until I was happy with the background.
I inked one of the backgrounds from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Sparkles and Christmas with Versamark ink and holding the stamp in my hands, stamped randomly on the background, sprinkled with Ranger Superfine White Embossing Powder and heat set.I added strips of Tim Holtz Idea-ology Christmas Design Tape and splatters of Brushed Pewter Distress Mica Spray.
I die-cut the Tim Holtz/Sizzix Bigz Cathedral Window from my precious stash of Grungeboard, painted with Brushed Pewter Distress Paint, fixed to the edge of the card panel using Distress Collage Medium Matte and trimmed off the excess.I die-cut the Tim Holtz/Sizzix Darling Deer Thinlits from Distress Watercolor card, twice for the deer on the right and 4 times for the deer on the left, layered to create dimension and fixed in place with Distress Collage Medium Matte. I fixed Tim Holtz/Sizzix Adhesive Sheet to Distress Watercolor card and die-cut using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Arctic Thinlits. I removed the die-cut stars using my Craft Pick and adhered to the panel.
I sanded the edges of Idea-ology Small Talk Occasions Stickers and fixed to the panel using Distress Collage Medium Matte.
I matted the panel on to silver Idea-ology Metallic Kraftstock and fixed to a 5" x 7" white card blank.
