Hi my friends, I'm sharing the card I made for the YouTube Live Launch of the new stamps and stencils from Tim Holtz and Stampers Anonymous using one of the beautiful images from Floral Outline. If you missed the Live launch, you can catch up with the new release and the inspirational projects from all the makers over on Tim's blog HERE.
A simple card using a very easy Distress Ink smooshing technique allowing the floral image to take centre stage and show off the amazing fine line detail of these gorgeous stamps. I trimmed Distress Watercolor card to be slightly smaller than the A2 card blank which I covered with Idea-ology Black Classic Cardstock. I smooshed Kitsch Flamingo and Fossilized Amber Distress Inks on to a piece of acetate, spritzed with water, laid on to the panel and moved the ink around by pressing with my fingers.
I inked the image from Floral Outline with Black Soot Distress Archival ink, newly released in the large size ink pads and I know I say this all the time but if you want true black, crisp stamped images, Black Soot Distress Archival is the best of the best.I added an Idea-ology Sentiments Label Sticker and matted the panel on to the card blank.
I'll be back tomorrow to share another card made with Floral Outline, in the meantime, have fun with whatever you are creating.
So beautiful Kath is your card x
