Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous - Cozy Christmas Snowman

Hi my friends, I'm sharing one of the Cozy Christmas cards I made for the YouTube Live Launch of Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Christmas 2021 release. If you missed the Live, you can check out the new stamps and stencils and the amazing projects from all the Makers on Tim's Blog HERE or YouTube Channel HERE.

I began by trimming Distress Watercolor card to 4.3/4" x 6.3/4". I spritzed Old Paper and Iced Spruce Distress Spray Stains on to the craft mat on my Glass Media Mat and spritzed with water. I laid the panel into the inks, dried and tapped back in to pick up the remaining droplets.
I stamped the Cozy Christmas Snowman image, inked with Black Soot Distress Archival ink.
I painted the snowman, baubles and berries with Picket Fence, Candied Apple, Fired Brick and Brushed Pewter Distress Paints and the holly and foliage with Peeled Paint and Pine Needles Distress Re-inkers.
Because I had left the stamp on the lid of my stamp platform, I re-inked and stamped over the painted image to redefine all the details. I used a Sakura White Gelly Roll Pen to add accents to the baubles and dots on the berries and a Sakura Black Glaze Pen on the snowman eyes and buttons. I added Midnight Distress Mica Flakes fixed in place with dots of Distress Collage Medium.
I stamped the sentiment with Black Soot Distress Archival ink, matted the panel on to a 5" x 7" white card blank covered with Gold Idea-ology Metallic KraftStock
I'll be back tomorrow to share a card made with the new release coming tomorrow from Simon Says Stamp. Have fun with whatever you are making.
Hugs Kath xxx
